Zirh Body Bar Product Review
September 19, 2006 by Glenn

Today I’m reviewing Zirh’s Body Bar, which I’ve been using for a little over a month now.
I have to start off by saying I no longer buy bar soap for the shower — washing with one seems like an annoyance compared to the ease of a luffa and liquid soap.
That said, the question remains: is a bar of soap from Zirh worth the $14.50 price tag? Zirh says you get the following benefits:
Triple alpha hydroxy acids work to remove impurities from skin and help prevent breakouts caused by dirt and oil. Contains grape seed extract, an antioxidant, to protect skin from damaging effects of the environment.
This may be true, but I haven’t noticed any real difference after a month of use.
THE BAD
It’s a bar of soap, and it costs $14.50. It seems a bit excessive.
THE GOOD
It gets me clean, and the soap looks cool.
THE VERDICT
Despite looking cool and keeping me clean, I can’t justify the cash for this. I think you’d get better results from regular soap and occasionally using Zirh’s Body Scrub. However, if you want all your hygiene products to come from one company and have extra cash on hand, enjoy the Body Bar!

Good review Glenn. This is one of the few Zirh products I’ve never tried. I appreciate the warning, that is rather pricy.
[...] Overall the product does its job fine. However, as with the Zirh Body Bar, I’m not convinced the $20 price tag is worth it. Filed under: Health & Fitness | Author: Glenn | [...]
