Write Our About Us

We’ve been busy working on a massive overhaul of Urban Monarch. We’ve got a new logo, a new design, and whole slew of new content we’ll be bringing out in the near future. As part of our renovation plan, we want to rewrite the About Us page. We’ve realized it doesn’t really have anything about us.
So we’re asking for some help in figuring out who we are. Submit a paragraph entry in the comments explaining what you feel urban monarch is. Honesty is a good policy, but flattery will get you everywhere.
The best I could come up with in 5 minutes was this:
The blog of self proclaimed Urban Monarchs Greg and Cash. Typically they just ramble on about their lives and interests with the occasional article actually worth something. They often use the site’s popularity to score free stuff.
Actually, if I do say so myself, that’s almost perfect… It can’t hurt to listen though.
P.S. I’ll be real disappointed if I don’t hear from Jess, Steve, Caroline, Goat…
Erm…”master of his domain”? No, guess not, sorry. Really, you guys are excellent at writing…AND scoring free stuff! Invite more women to participate, tell them they can see how the (urban) male mind works. We ALL want that.
Urban Monarch for me has been about bringing together a vast array of products, ideas, and views from a wide range of people who, at least in my mind, tend to be of about a similar age (ok, i would have said “mental maturity” except for the “cash” factor ;)) that has been both entertaining and insightful in many areas. Gotten some good and interesting advice, and hopefully my two shekels now and then are of use too.

Well, here goes:
UM is about city living: Eating, drinking (especially drinking), living, loving, movin’, groovin’, and any other social (or antisocial) activities that we may or may not like, dislike, expect, or intend to take up in the near future. For those of you not in an urban mode, consider this an education. For those of you in the midst of an urban mode, consider this a constant reminder of how, and why, you live in the city…
Urban Monarch is a resource run by Colorado urbanites Cash and Greg on the topics that matter the most to the evolved gentleman: Woman, music, liquor, travel, gear, and more. From items to help impress the fairer sex (furniture, threads and accessories) to ideas that will assist in a more fulfilling, productive life, UM provides a modern, masculine oasis within the largely gender-neutral Internet.

Lacking explicit categorization, we at Urban Monarch pride ourselves on the ability to acutely define metropolitan living at its finest. You won’t find us longing, we’re already privy to live as rockstars. Skip the sissy advice, we know what life is about. Indulge in our digital blasphemy.
