urban monarch one year anniversary

It’s official. UM has been around for a whole year. In that time, authors have come and gone, features have been featured, and plenty of alcohol, grooming products, and fiber bars have been sampled.

I’m quite proud of the work we do here @ UM, but on this important occasion I thought it would be fun to look back at some of the ahem, less important information we’ve shared with you, our most valuable readers.

Sifu:

When Sifu first wrote this post on curing hiccups, we laughed. Reading it today, I laugh all over again. Hey, we were young and needed the content

Gucci:

Gucci’s fascination with an imaginary girl named “Bambi” was well documented during his stint with UM. In this post, he asks her to kindly refrain from bothering him while he “stamps his authority” all over some “Ryu” character’s face.

Glenn:

Boy howdy did Glenn hate the products we had him review. Maybe ‘hate’ is too strong a word, but he wasn’t making any friends with the likes of Zirh, that’s for sure. Glenn provided a lot of solid information, which made his post on ‘how to annoy people’ quite curious indeed.

Greg:

Over the last year; Greg and I have fallen into certain natural roles here @ UM. I consider him the Urban Monarch Sex Editor in Chief, and I would say I’m the Drinking Editor in Chief (”drunk editor in chief” might be even more appropriate). We both write about a variety of topics, of course, but those seem to be our primary areas of focus. I remember my surprise then on seeing his post titled “The Freezing Point of Soda“. “Bob” made a comment that went a few steps further.

Cash:

Oh lord. So many to choose from. I try to include informative, helpful information in my posts but sometimes let’s face it, I’m working against a deadline and running out of time. Hopefully, this is the explanation behind my post on Parking Meters For The Homeless.
