unthirsty: happy hour radar
May 18, 2007 by Cash

Just in time for the weekend; a Google maps mash-up that matters. Unthirsty lets you input your location and find out not just happy hours in the area, but happy hours that are happening *right now*. Other information on offer includes whether or not the location offers wi-fi(?), food specials, outdoor seating, etc.
I can’t believe I’m missing McCormick’s $1.95 Nachos and $2.50 PBRs right now. What a waste.
According to Thrillist:
Mousing over a spot pops up user-submitted info/comments, including the discounted-drinking schedule, specific deals, and helpful bits of information like “steer clear of the French fries, unless you like yours refried for maximum sogginess”.
check out Unthirsty now. Bottoms up.

You should check out http://urbandrinks.com if you’re in Portland. It’s got more info and I like the focus on what’s going on at the moment.
