UM Improvements

As you know, we’re currently reworking Urban Monarch for a version 2.0 relaunch. It has one purpose in mind, a better experience for the readers. While we’re busy reworking the site, we would love to hear from you.
- What ideas do you have for Urban Monarch?
- What do you want to see more of?
- What can we be doing that we are not?
- How can we make urban monarch a better experience for you?
It’d be nice to see some narrower catagories and a index page of the most popular articles or the articles that you do a series of. For example, it’d be nice to see a page that would group the 4 hour work week posts, the home decorating posts, book club posts, etc.
I’d like more book club definately. I’d also like more stuff like proper shoe-shining, shaving, tailoring, stuff like that. Another Urban Minx wouldn’t be bad either
Brian; your wish is my command on one of those items; I have a full scale feature series planned to coincide with the relaunch…
Yes, Urban Minx would be nice. Everyone likes some eye candy. In fact when I worked for Clear Channel the most popular pages with regards to visits were the babe pages. Lets face it, pretty girls=lots of page visits!
It would be nice to have the body text a percent of the screen size instead of fixed pixel width. I’ve got tons of wasted space on my widescreen monitor!
I love the simple layout and non-cluttered look of the site. But a great artsist/designer could keep those elements without having it look stark…which is how it feels to me now.
