I’ve been hearing about the UMF off and on over the last few years. My recruiter even shared a torrid tale of a debauched adventure there that included some crazy Oakenfold after-party. Still, I never investigated it to any degree.
Leave it to long time UM ally and ultra kick-ass east coast photog Jess then to help me see the light.
I wouldn’t know where to begin pointing out all the awesomeness of this year’s line-up, so I’ll just throw down 5 artists I would love to see:
Deadmau5
Carl Cox
Sasha & John Digweed
Boys Noize
LA Riots (thank God I get to see them in Denver in a few weeks)
Seriously. I mean.. gawd. If your pockets are deep enough and appetite for fun big enough, I suggest you book a flight to Miami this afternoon. There’s still time.

2009… damn. Where did the century go?
Well, me and my best friend planned to go to Ultra’s 10th birthday since December when we first saw the line up. And let me tell you. It was worth every penny saved to go. The line up was crazy good, the shows were even better. We are already planning for next year, and I’m not sure the Ultra people even are yet. So many people, SO many DJ’s, BEST after party I have ever been to (and I’ve been to alot). So I can’t stress this enough…if your as big of a house junkie as I am…GO TO ULTRA!!!
