Tommy Bahama - Set Sail St Barts
April 17, 2007 by Greg

While returning some shoes at Nordstrom this week, I stopped by the men’s fragrance counter to pick up a new facial scrub. By the way, Jack Black’s mentholated scrub is the shit. Anyhow, after flirting with the silver foxes behind the glass counters, one invited me to smell some of their new fragrances.
Tommy Bahama, who has a mojito fragrance I love, released a new limited edition offering this spring. Set Sail St Bart’s is the first in a soon to be series of scents representing different islands of the Caribbean. Style Dash sums up the smell better than I can…
Their new fragrances for both men and women are Set Sail St. Barts, two limited edition scents that will be on sale this spring. The men’s scent is citrusy with notes of tequila, lime, guava and volcanic musk. The women’s scent includes notes of tequila sorbet, lime, white musk and Guaiac wood from the hills of St. Bart’s.
I walked out of the store with a sample. After a few days, it’s definitely on my want to have list.

Tequila Sorbet?!
I’m making a special request at the gelato store.
a local place around here does a “shot and a beer” dessert. guiness gelato w/ a shot of drambuie over the top. it’s so tasty.
mmm delicious
Greg…We are so thrilled you like our fragrance, we will send you a bottle so you can feel like you are on the beach in St. Barts every day. Forward contact info and a bottle will be on its way. Thanks, Lori Z.
I just bought the perfume based off a “blind” smell test. I wanted a new fragrance and the woman at the Macy’s counter decided this was the best way to find one for me. It worked! I LOVE the fragrance! It smells so hypnotizingly fresh! I can just imagine what the cologne smells like… MMM, so sexy!
