Throwing a Massage Party: Hiring Masseuses

This past Friday I threw a holiday party with a focus on relaxation.  I hired two massage therapists to come in and give chair massages to my closest friends.  Originally I kept my guest list very tight, but then I figured out a way to double the capacity.  Hire two masseuses for the price of one.

A quick google search yielded five major massage schools in my immediate area.  A phone call to the career center of the three with the best clinical services gave me all the information on the services they offer.  Some schools sent out students on a donation basis, some an hourly basis, and some offered connection services with their graduated practitioners.

I easily located a service to send me two well trained students for half the price of an independent massage therapist.  For $150 I acquired 2 massseuses complete with chairs, massage oils, and 3.5 hours of time to make everyone feel better.
