Tangerine Nightclub Review

Last night we hit the Las Vegas club scene at Tangerine. Located on the ground level of Treasure Island this smaller venue is bathed in orange and features an outdoor patio facing the pirate lake. With a line wrapping around the casino it takes a while to enter this local rich club, but those wise enough to get a table in advance are ushered in through the front and escorted through managed pathways to their private space.
The dance floor is small and tight, but the crunchy house beats and dj mixed hip hop taunt club goers with invitations to dance. Save the carefully crafted moves for another club night though because the only option for dancing at tangerine is up close and intimate. However, with all the carefully screened patrons, finding someone suitable to move against isn’t difficult.
There are two main bars for general admission to get their drinks: one on the dance floor, and one on the outside patio. Moving between the two can be difficult, so pick a spot and stay there. After a few drinks you’ll find yourself regularly pushing aside the orange curtains that surround the club to hit the only available bathroom on the casino floor. The stamp on your hand guarantees a speedy re-entry.
If the crowd dies down at any time, just wait a few minutes, and it picks back up. In the waning hours of the night, we noticed the porch area thinning. We sat with our new friends, sipped a few drinks, and watched as a new wave of people entered the club around 2 am. Leaving the club around 4 am with grins on our faces, our table neighbors, and a breakfast destination in mind, we had a great time. We highly recommend Tangerine for your Wednesday nights in Las Vegas.

Hello Carrot Top at the next table.
I went there one night as well had a very enjoyable evening. Their slush drinks were tasty and reasonably priced. The mix of music was good and dancing wasn’t too crowded. (Though I did go in February so that might explain it…) Next time I am coming! And have you guys ever been to Studio 54? If not, I am taking you all!
