Dancing has definitely helped me in the past couple weeks. Not necessarily building the body I want, but instead helped my cardio a little. When I went to the gym last week, I was so scared I wouldn't be able to last my 20 minutes on the elliptical machine, but instead only noticed a slight increase in heart rate. This was nice because I hadn't been going to the gym that regularly, so I'm assuming the dancing has helped keep my heart in check.

This weekend I finally made it back onto the eliptical machine @ the gym. Good gawd. In an instant I was reminded what a real workout is (huffing, puffing, almost collapsing light headedness) vs my 'brisk walking' 3 miles everyday to the lightrail.

Still, the dancing and walking are definite improvements over sitting on the couch.
