SleepTracker Arrived

Yesterday I received a pleasant surprise in the mail, the Sleep Tracker watch. This is the first product to make it in for our sleep products show down and it didn’t disappoint. While Cash and I will be both testing and reviewing these lines of products extensively, I wanted to share just a quick preview.
Gauging from the amazon reviews I expected a monster. Reviews made comments like:
It took a while to get used to wearing a watch — let alone such a BIG watch — when going to sleep.
However, the watch is too large for my tiny wrist, and it slides on my arm during the night.
I opened up the package, and to my surprise the watch is much smaller and sleeker than I anticipated. Looking at the pictures, I thought the watch would be a lot thicker, like some sort of sport watch. I’m not saying I’m going to wear out to the clubs, or out of the house for that matter, but it’s not the beef cake I envisioned.
We’ll be testing this bad boy out for the next few weeks and will report further on it’s functionality. Till then, I’ll be napping heavily in the name of research.
Manufacturer: Sleep Tracker

what is its function or purpose? please elaborate.
p.s. you are not the beefcake i envisioned either but i still like you…
the watch detects your rem cycles (via motion) and tries to wake you up when you are in between sleep cycles.
p.s. thanks
