Simplify Your Life with the Jimi Wallet
October 24, 2006 by Greg

Almost 2 years into production the Jimi Wallet is old news, but I finally got one last week and it’s awesome. For those not hip to the Jimi, here is the scoop.
Jimi™ wallet is a compact, water resistant and colorful alternative to that stodgy, old wallet that attracts old receipts and out of date library cards like a paper magnet. Jimi™ wallet holds just the essentials: five cards, a few bills, and even has a detachable money clip if you need to go super slim. Jimi™ wallet actually fits in your front pocket, but you can also carry it the slimmest of bags, or around your neck on a lanyard (which makes it a perfect student ID holder/wallet).
The Jimi is a lifestyle choice as much as it is a wallet. With a wallet that only holds the essentials, 5 cards and 3 bills, the jimi wallet demands a selective process. Out of my wallet came a stack of paper and cards I don’t use and frankly now wonder why I carried them around for so long. Slimmed down to a library card, a bus pass, an id, two credit cards and three twenties, I’m armed with everything I need and nothing more. It’s also water resistant, responsibly manufactured, and cool enough that people regularly ask questions when I pull it out. At $14.95, I highly recommend the Jimi.

When Greg first got this thing, he raved about it so much I had a hard time telling if he loved it, or was IN love with it.
Personally, I’m sticking to my tried and true silver money clip. I do give the Jimi props for being a good place for a bus pass though.
The choice of colors is awesome too.
I just ordered one from their website. I hope it works as well for me as it did for you. I only need about five cards to carry and about $50 to $60 in cash on me. If I would’ve seen it before I ordered the original Jimi, I wouldn’ve ordered the Jimi X, but the guy told me it was too late. Either way, I’m fine with it. I’m sure I don’t need to carry $100 in cash. W/e.
