Sexpo Review
March 9, 2007 by Greg

Two weekends ago, I headed out to Sex & So Much More, or, as we like to call it, the sexpo. I had never been before so I went without any previously formed opinions. Last year, when the expo was in town, the city seemed flooded with a mob of chumpy looking guys wearing big grins hoping to get a view of Jenna Jameson and an autograph from Ron Jeremy. I didn’t want to be one of those guys.
When the always gorgeous Raquel asked me if I would go with her, I jumped at the opportunity. If I’m going to the sexpo, I might as well arrive in good company. We hit the event early at 12:30, just a an hour and a half after opening. I’m not sure if they were offering early bird discount for AARP members, but we were surprised at the aged population. As the festival continued, the vibe and crowd morphed into a younger, more comfortable, and excited state.
The expo is made up of many attractions for most sexual interests. There is a seminar room where classes are taught on the hour for most of the weekend. Both local and national stores and manufacturers setup booths to offer demos and wares for sale (some with sales up to 20% off). The strip clubs and private entertainment crew also represent with demos of their own. Off to the side was a dungeon area where, cameras strictly disallowed, you could witness or even experiment with rotating themes. In the center was the main stage where throughout the day you might catch male strippers, burlesque shows, or porn stars staging competitions and throwing out prizes.
My favorite part of the expo was the seminars. I attended only three, but had I devoted a weekend, I could’ve walked away a sexual ninja. The seminars I attended were: The Tantric Cafe, Secrets of the Male Multiple Orgasm, and Introduction to BDSM. They were all taught in a comfortable setting, speakers up front for an hour, talking and answering questions from the audience. Through this I learned about a local guild of sexual teachers and where to find a nice friendly dungeon to visit.
In the end, the sexpo is a great event. The best thing I took away was excitement. Excitement in some new products, excitement in some new techniques, and excitement concealed in my 501s.
Future events, check out Sex and So Much More.

WARNING: “Dungeon” = “Semi-clothed Fat Camp”
prick
It’s funny cos it’s true.
How did you like the feather on your skin?
Rawr! That’s all I have to say about that.
