scientology interview
With all the buzz around “Anonymous” and their recently launched war against Scientology, I’ve found my own morbid curiousity with the cult rekindled. It didn’t take long for me to come across a new, profoundly disturbing tidbit of lore, in the form of a 1983 Penthouse magazine interview with L. Ron Hubbard Jr.
One uplifting revelation? L. Ron Hubbard senior, aka Mr. Dianetics, considered himself the anti-christ:
Hubbard Jr: Also, I’ve got to complete this by saying he thought of himself as the Beast 666 incarnate.
Penthouse: The devil?
Hubbard Jr: Yes, the Antichrist. Alestair Crowley thought of himself as such. And when Crowley died in 1947, my father then decided that he should wear the cloak of the beast and become the most powerful being in the universe.

Well now that’s interesting. Now why would someone purposely adopt that moniker? It’s not that it’s inaccurate; we are all somewhat anti-christs in our own way I say.
And now Tom Cruise is panting to don the mantel. Have any of you heard the rumour that his daughter was concieved using frozen sperm from L Ron? No wonder the man doesn’t believe in psychiatry, etc. They’d put him away in the blink of an eye!
