r.i.p: polar bear snuff

It’s not often that the internet pisses me off, but when it does, it REALLY does. Doing research into over-the-counter stimulants led me to a bizarre discription of perhaps the strangest legal upper ever;
Polar Bear is a gorgeous white powder that you snort, sniff demurely or pack into your sinuses like cotton wadding. Going straight through your mucus membranes, Polar Bear is an instant rush.
An unlike ‘the other white powder’ I’m sure none of you are familiar with, Polar Bear Snuff isn’t damaging to your nostrils:
All you’ll find in the powder is “caffeine crystals, kava kava, red kirin, ginseng, oil of clove and wintergreen, natural menthol crystals.” The wintergreen and menthol really opened up everyone’s sinuses, but about half of our volunteers found the taste of Polar Bear unpleasant at the back of their throats. Most went back for seconds, however.
The review left me racing to google in an effort to order Polar Bear Snuff for a proper review. It took all of about 60 seconds to realize two things;
- The article reviewing it was from 1996.
- Polar Bear Snuff is no longer on the market
Damn you internet and your teasing ‘historical archive of everything awesome that the government probably deemed too fun to keep on the market’ ways.

I’ve been reading Urban Monarch for ages now… and I think that’s probably the weirdest post I’ve seen written.
I do agree though, curse the “too fun to be allowed” regulations. Though I’ve heard of people sniffing caffeine crystals before?

I hear you Kaycie. I don’t know where you live but there are two energy products available here in Denver that I feel are pretty good; 1) SPIKE energy drink (see my review here) and 2) 5 hour energy drink (sold in the tiny 2oz shooter bottles). If you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them.
I was getting a pretty good kick out of the cocaine energy drink before they took them off the shelves here in Dallas….I haven’t tried the 5 hour energy drink yet, but i’ll definitely give it a shot. You might try the extra large monster energy drinks, I forget their official name…ultra monster or something to that effect. Probably not any better than a regular monster energy drink except for the fact that its almost double the size.
i just found out about this stuff and not thru the internet they have it at local head shops here where i live (austin tx) i bought 2 viles of it a day ago its pretty cool i like it its an easy energy boost and ur able to eat on the come down but i just wanted to tell u the government couldnt ban it everywhere its only at select stores though but mail me if u need info
I did the same thing. Googled Polar Bear Snuff and ended up annoyed and then here.
Do I need to move to Austin Tx just to get energized? I really like the cold Northeast though! Can this be purchased through the mail?
iv only seen it here or even heard of it here. and they only sell it at one particular store. the label says the distributer on it and theyre located here in austin. its cool though one vile has 2.5 grams and its only $9!!!.. with tax of course. it doesnt give you quite the rush i had hoped for but it hit pretty hard and gave me a goooood sensation.

Found this website w/letter in regards to Ener-B. They consider Ener-B a “drug” in the USA vs Nature’s Bounty trial & banned them from producing it. I used this product back in 1987. It was great!!
