Redken recently sent along their new line of ‘minis’; travel / gym bag sized versions of their top 4 selling products.
Over the last week, I put them to the test.
go clean daily care shampoo
They say:
Gently cleanses, removes build-up, and helps leave hair stronger* and more manageable. Helps hydrate the scalp.
Formulated with:
Protein = Hair Strength
Glycerin = Moisture and Shine
I say:
Good all around shampoo, very light on fragrance which should appeal to guys not wanting any fruity scents in their shower routine.

They say:
Lathers off dirt and build-up, leaves hair stronger and scalp tingling clean.

Peppermint = Scalp Stimulation and Energizing
Macro Soother = Scalp Balance And Relief
I say:
The minty fresh scent is a winner. Very refreshing and helps wake you up on those not so peppy mornings.

I say:
Excellent follow up to the Mint Clean; definitely left my hair smooth and controllable.

For my spiky topped needs, not enough strength in this product. I’ll stick to my outplay for sure.

I’ve been using Redken’s Rewind paste for years and LOVE it. No build up and not too stiff. Redken makes some great stuff, but most of which I think is a little overpriced.
