Quick Tip: Public Transportation to the Airport
February 26, 2008 by Greg

Flying to visit the family one trip, I sat next to a bachelorette party bound brunette girl who offered me a piece of travel advice I’ve followed almost every time, take public transportation to the airport. In Denver, there are a few options. A bus from downtown will get you to the airport in about an hour or, for those driving, a covered and security patrolled free park-n-ride is located just 20 minutes away from the airport. The convenience and inexpensive fare have made this a regular practice in my travels.
Being in New Orleans with my brother’s wedding in Key West looming just around the corner, I started looking to public transportation to get to the airport without dropping $50 on a cab. A quick visit to NORTA (new orleans transit authority) informs me that public transportation to the airport is offered via Jefferson Transit (neighboring suburb transit authority) for $1.60. Add to that my usual $1.25 NORTA fare and I’m to the airport within one hour for under $3.

note to the ladies; be sure to bring along your naughty unmentionables and crazy dildos for ALL skyRide excursions. Thx//RTD Management
Why drop $50 on a cab when you can drop $100 on a Towncar.
