Quick Tip: Have Your Mail Held
November 15, 2007 by Greg
What do you do with your mail when going on an extended vacation? You could have your neighbors pick it up for you, or, with a few clicks through the USPS website, you could just have the post office hold it for you.
You simply enter in your address, the start and stop dates, and whether you’ll pick the mail up or if you want it to delivered in bulk on the last day. Plan just one day in advance and you’ll be setup.

Tres convenience. Another thing I have to give the USPS props on is the Automated Postage Machines they’ve got set up. Send packages without the wait, even if the post office isn’t ‘open’ (the lobby of almost every post office is 24/7 due to post office box customers). Boo-yeah.
