quick tip: cologne samples in your messenger bag

A couple of years ago, I received a package of birthday goodies from an incredibly thoughtful ex of mine.  Amongst the treasures was a large clutch filled with samples of my favorite cologne.  At the time, I had two regular sized bottles on hand, so the bag ended up forgotten in a drawer.

During my move, I grabbed one of the tiny vials and tossed it in my messenger bag.  Turns out it’s the perfect thing to keep on hand; not only can I recharge my scent midday before an important meeting, but I can also do a quick spritz before heading out if my after work plans call for a social engagement prior to going home.  It’s an ideal addition to your travel bag too, considering it falls within the TSA’s new 3oz liquid policy.

I recommend everyone head to the department store and ask for a few free samples of your preferred scent.

Don’t have a favorite?  Ask the cuties behind the counter for suggestions.  Rawr.

Excellent suggestion goat, along with a splash of office bathroom soap behind each ear. Lookout ladies!

I thought about grabbing some samples for my trip. However, on second thought, they got returned to their drawers, waiting for the next friend to help him on his way to smelling better…
