poll: your ideal house

There’s a reason we decided to call ourself “Urban Monarch” rather than “Country Playboy” or “Backwoods Hick”.

We’ve all gravitated towards the downtown lifestyle.

Perhaps it’s the maintenence-free aspect of it. Or the proximity to the bars, culture and vitality of living in the heart of the action.

Whatever the reason, we’re here and I’m curious about our readers’ thoughts on the subject of ideal living arrangements.

I want a house in southern california in the style of a giant moorish palace. Similar to the Fairmont Princess resort in Scottsdale, AZ.

Waterfalls. Fountains. Covered walkways between wings that are completely open to the outside. Spanish tile on the roof. An outdoor bar area. Enourmous plants. Beautiful women.

A renovated Victorian in Uptown Denver. Trendy Suburban feel with downtown access. It’s an easy taxi ride home up 17th From Union Station or any part of downtown. You could opt for Nightriders Designated Driver Service drive your drunken arse home in your own car.

Suburban houses don’t have to be boring. You just need to find a good one. I used to live in a house 13 min from downtown Denver. It was beachside on a private wakeboard lake. You can imagine girls hate to be invited to hang out on my beach. The parties there lasted days and were beyond epic.
