Poll: How You Dress
June 5, 2008 by Greg

Being someone who loves good denim, soft t-shirts, and vegan sneakers, my attire is usually pretty relaxed. However, after attending a few recent computer events and seeing my peers look the same, I’m realizing that maybe it’s time to grow it up a little bit. How are you dressing?
How You Dress

Man that’s tough.. depends on the season and the event. I like tee shirts under unique pressed long sleeve shirts (or over them for that matter). I’m liking hoodies more and more though, so where does that leave me?
I voted T-shirts and Hoodies. Best choice for the summer I suppose…
I voted the middle option because it’s usually a combination of all three.
Nice raw denim with a collared shirt and skinny tie and a cardigan today at work for example. How is that supposed to fit in your silly little categories huh??
…as for vegan sneakers, why is it that all vegan sneakers (which I wear) tend to look like the cliche of what vegan shoes should look like? Why can’t someone make cool looking shoes that happen to be vegan, rather than putting out shoes that scream “LOOK HOW MUCH OF A HIPPIE I AM!?”
Adidas’ new Grun line for example…”I LOVE THE ENVIRONMENT & HEMP & THE COLOR GREEN!! BEHOLD MY ETHOS!!!”
Anyway, would love to see a post (more posts) on cool vegan shoes, because I am always on the search, but frequently disappointed.
@JR: Go to: http://veja-fairtrade.com/ You will have to click on the ‘English’ link, but these are some nice (but pricey) shoes, made with organic cotton and natural rubber, imported from Brazil under a ‘fair trade’ agreement. There are many styles to choose from. There are also Simple Shoes, not as luxe but still manufactured using recycled products and sustainable and organic fibers. You can find those here:
