poll: favorite coffee
April 30, 2007 by Cash
Yesterday I found myself on a mission at the mall with a sexy vixen whose company I quite enjoy. As we were leaving, she insisted upon stopping for a chai @ Starbucks. This gave her mischevious delight as she’s quite aware of how I feel about the place. Undaunted, and with her chai and my Vitamin Water in tow, we headed out hand in hand into the blustery afternoon.
Here in Denver, I’m sometimes hard pressed to buy coffee ‘out’ because Starbucks has so completely infiltrated the market. Another Colorado brand, “Peaberry” is on my boycott list for a different reason altogether. This leaves Caribou Coffee (pretty tasty), Ink coffee (good but not conveniently located), and Leela’s (a cafe that features Lavazza, and the cutest baristas in town).
If I had my way, Dunkin Donuts would open up shop across the street from my loft. It’s probably my favorite coffee shop java.
How about you? Please add anything I may have missed:

I had peets yesterday, it was delicious.
Woo woo! Another good Colorado roaster I approve of. Thanks for the reminder Greg.
I commented fairly late in the last coffee thread so it was probably missed, but give Novo a try sometime. Excellent local coffee, though they don’t have many locations yet.
Thanks Brandon! Greg and I gave it a look at the art museum’s event this past Friday night, but didn’t actually sample it. Next time for sure. I liked the way they had the ground coffee samples displayed for you to check out.
Sugar Beat = grossest coffee ever. It tastes like something cash would serve me when he’s trying to conserve funds.
“Go Dunkin.. Go Dunkin..”
Good move whoever added Illy. Pretty pricey but also pretty good, plus the coolest canisters ever.
