poll: best sub sandwich
July 24, 2008 by Cash
Living downtown offers plenty of choices in the sandwich realm. Although I used to swear by Denver’s own ‘Spicy Pickle’, I must admit my first time enjoying a “Big John” from Jimmie Johns the other day may have converted me. All that thinly sliced, delicious roast beef… aaaah.
How about you? Feel free to add your own selection as I know there are plenty of different choices around the country.

Best sub sandwich?

Barf
I had to add Dibella’s sub from Rochester, NY to the list. If there are any Rochester, NY reader, they should be backing this up. I’ve never EVER had a sub better than that place. I’ve tried to find better and have failed. I’m acutally planning a trip back up there to visit and the first two things I’m getting once I’m there is lunch at Dibella’s and a garbage plate.
Dibella’s are the best, especially the grilled subs. Great to hear from other Western New Yorkers!
Thanks for the Dibella’s tip. I have a good friend who just moved out there. I will pass the information along. Silvermine is tasty too but,
All Hail PICKLE BARREL! In Fort Collins that is…
Oh man, dibellas and garbage plates. another RIT alum here. hahah
Oh man, I wasn’t going to vote, but then someone had to go and add snarf’s. That ish is delish!
goat, what year were ya?
I would totally laugh at “publix’ being added, if not for my own experiences with Safeway’s in store deliciousness..
I pronounce publix “pube licks” because it’s funny.

Shannon; an ex of mine also called it ‘pube licks’. I don’t care where you’re from, that’s funny.
