Hugh Hefner and George Maloof (Owner, Palms Casino) recognize that I’m not the only one. 

After a boom in the 60’s and 70’s that saw “Playboy Clubs” popping up across the globe featuring the ubiquitous playboy bunny costumes and, ahem, stiff drinks, Playboy Club Las Vegas is the first new franchise since the 80’s.

Playboy Club Las Vegas occupies prime real estate at the top of the Palms casino and features bunnies not only pouring drinks, but dealing blackjack as well.

With a distinctly vintage feel, Playboy bunnies wearing the distinctive ears and cottontail delivered drinks and dealt cards to a mostly male crowd at the Palms Casino Resort

George Maloof is adament about conveying the more upscale vibe of the club;

the Playboy club will be a welcome respite from the X-rated offerings available elsewhere in Vegas. Maloof says he expects young women to frequent the club, along with bachelor parties and high rollers.

“There’s plenty in Vegas to do if you want to go to a strip club,” Maloof said earlier this week. “This is a sophisticated place.”

No word yet on how scantily clad dealers will affect my card counting, but in the spirit of scientific research I promise to find out and report back.
