Packing Aids: Tolietry Kits

Coming up on a long series of weekend get aways and island adventures, I found it just the right time to upgrade my traveling bags.  Remembering my longing for packing aids while in New Orleans, I decided to pick up a mixed set of packing cubes as well as a replacement for my old toiletry kit.

I went with the eBags Pack-it-flat tolietry kit.  The pack-it-flat tolietry kit is unique because of its long, flat design, allowing it to rest easily in the available space on top of clothes.  The key perk in this though is the included (albeit non-animal friendly) nalgene containers.

Usually when I get ready for travel, I have to wait till the last minute to pack my toiletry kit.  With items in everyday use, they can’t be packed till I’m ready to leave.  However, with a kit equipped with break and spill proof containers, I can simply fill the containers with my products and be packed days in advance.

I may even go the next step and buy another set of containers.

Very nice. I’ve been keeping my toiletries bag packed with travel size / small refillable containers of the necessary items for awhile, and it’s a real time saver.

Especially if you put off packing till the last second.
