For me, there are different cocktails for different moods.

I used to be a gin & tonic fanatic, but ever since discovering the horrors of High Fructose Corn Syrup (an ingredient of tonic) I typically stick to the basics; a Level Vodka + Club Soda, sometimes a Stoli Vanil + Club Soda or even Johnnie Walker Black, neat.

How about you?

What’s your beverage of choice?  Do you think a drink defines a person?

Get your comments started ladies and gentlemen and have a great weekend.

My beverage of choice is Level and Cranberry.

As for a drink defining a person, I think you can tell a lot about a person by what they drink. Take for example the girl who thinks she’s classy and orders a glass of White Z at the bar. She thinks she’s classy by ordering wine, but yet picking one that isn’t even good. There’s this email I got that described different drinks and the personalities that drink them, I will try to find it.

If it’s cocktail of choice, I say, stoli blueberry / pearl pomegranate / hangar one lime + soda.

I think your choice in alcohol definitely defines you as a person.

It depends on how I’m feeling. If I did not get a nap or am tired I usually go with a Vodka + Red Bull at first, just to make sure I am up and ready to go. Then I switch to Gin and Tonics for the rest of the evening.

Raquel; definitely try to find that email! Sounds like a great future feature for UM.

Greg, oh man how could I have forgotten Hangar Lime + Soda? Obviously the pinnacle of two part cocktails. For shame Cash, for shame!

Lee, gret call on the Vodka+Red Bull. When I finally broke out of the “Make mine a long island iced tea” phase, that was my first ‘real’ drink. It’s a great way to start the night as you said. Thanks for the comment!

Keep em coming everyone! Anyone here a tequila drinker? Greg’s been looking for a tequila ‘cocktail’ to try..

HFCS 4eva in my Gin & Tonic land. Lately it’s been Gin & Fresca though.
