with Greg gearing up to move into a cool new place at the end of the month, I thought I’d share a great site that helped me make my own transition from apartment to loft.

See My Design is an interior design site that covers all the bases.  You can create to-scale rooms matching your place, fill them with correctly proportioned furniture, and move everything around; easily getting a feel for how your stuff will fill the space.

There are loads of other tools, including photo realistic room rendering (to test color schemes, art, etc) and color palette help for finding the perfect hues to set the mood.

As far as I can tell, it’s all free.

Grab your tape measure, some paper, and get over there!
