I love renting a place with a kitchen.  While eating out is something I explicitly enjoy, when eating every meal out of the home it turns to more of a chore than anything else.  Renting a place with a kitchen lets me keep my simple and easy meals at home.  However, every time I’ve rented one, the kitchen has been practically empty.

I can adapt recipes to use ratio based measurements and I can cook most meals with just a pot and a pan. Often though I’m finding myself without the pot, the pan, the spatula, the spoon, or most other necessities.  Usually remedied by a few low dollar purchases for sub par tools, the situation is resolved within a couple days.  I would much rather be ready when I unpack my luggage and have quality products.

Enter back packing cookware.

This stuff is engineered to be light and provide all the necessities.  Removable handles and specially designed pots let everything stack and pack upon itself.  With Cooking tools and utensils that fold small and neoprene containers hold essential spices and oils the whole kitchen fits in just a small bag.
