one thing i love: king sized coupons (thanks city grille denver)

For as irresponsibly decadent as I sometimes choose to live my life, there’s also a frugal side to me. A veeeery frugal side.
Case in point: KING sized coupons. I’m not talking about “10% off all regularly priced gorditas @ Taco Bell - limited time only!” discounts. I’m not even talking about BOGO (buy one, get one) offers.
I’m talking about coupons so good, and with so little ‘fine print’ that I’m driven to scour the city trying to track down extras.
City Grille, a longtime winner of “Denver’s Best Burger” (a mean steak burger you have to see to believe) ran a coupon in last week’s “Best of Denver” Westword.
The deal: FREE burger with purchase of any drink: including their $10 world famous steak-a-licious signature dish.
What businesses need to realize?
It’s THAT kind of coupon that has me telling over ten people (in this case) all about it. Likely driving return customers through their door for months to come.
Way to go, City Grille

mmmm burgers…
Cash, are you trying to say that you guys only get 10 people visiting your site?
Thanks to you Adam, an all time record.. ELEVEN!!!
He probably meant only ten locals. I’d love to try the burger, but it’s a long trip from Tucson just for a burger. I had planned to make a trip to Colorado this winter for skiing, but finances didn’t work out the way I would have liked. There’s always next year? But, no burger coupons by then most likely.
Probably not Caroline.
(but you might still want to check out City Grille if you’re in the downtown area..) Yum.
