In his best selling book “The Game”, Neil Strauss unveils a lot of intriguing tools intended to make meeting women easier. One piece that can easily be overlooked as readers race through the book seeking out the “perfect pickup line ” (hint: it doesn’t exist) was his constant club companion, a trusty ‘man purse’.
According to the super metro-friendly lads over at The Satchel Pages, style (pun certainly intended) and function have rarely come together more perfectly.
Yes, in the midst of shocking advice on approaching, attracting, and bedding hot babes, and in the middle of the story of his own rise from frustrated nerd to suave pickup artist, Strauss devotes an entire chapter of his seminal work to the man bag he uses in his nightly conquests.
Strauss’s bag
was black, Armani, and the size of a hardcover novel, with a single shoulder strap so that it could be slung artfully across my torso. With so many magic tricks, gimmicks, and other tools of the trade necessary to use in the field, it was impossible to fit everything into just four pants pockets. [Emphasis added]
Amongst my ‘inner circle’ of 5 friends, three of them have man bags. I’m one of the two that do not. Maybe it’s time to hit up Armani and do a little browsing.
