Movie Genre Primers

Film is a huge art form, with many more releases and genres than one could possibly see. With such a vast selection, where do you start?

One possibility is GreenCine’s Movie Primers Directory. Pick from the ever-growing list of genres you find yourself interested in, and you’ll be given a solid introduction as well as a list of movies to watch.

Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment, but I think I’m going to give anime a second (or was it fourth or fifth?) chance.

The only reason I keep trying anime is because of my experience with Neon Genesis Evangelion. The last two episodes? Oh. my. god.

    GitS was cool too.

Oh and if you’ve got a little bit of anime experience and you think it’s stupid as hell, *do not* miss the anime-spoof Perfect Hair Forever. Only six episodes and absolutely hilarious.
