radiohead live

Little known fact:  I was in attendance at the very first Lollapalooza.  Jane’s Addiction beneath a full moon was an amazing experience indeed.

It looks like 2008 won’t be too far behind.

In a pairing that can only be called “Coachella Worthy” Radiohead AND Nine Inch Nails are set to co-headline (along with Rage Against The Machine) this year’s 3 day Chicago-palooza extravaganza.

A few other artists that have me en-route to the sperm bank to donate whatever’s necessary to attend:

  • kanye west
  • love and rockets
  • bloc party
  • gogol bordello
  • perry ferrell
  • GIRL TALK
  • css
  • battles
  • chromeo
  • booka shade
  • louis xiv
  • does it offend you, yeah?
  • uffie

Just phreaking unbelievable, that.

There are literally dozens of others on the bill, check the Lollapalooza site for additional details.

3 day passes, as of right now, will run you $190.  Not too bad at all.
One very intriguing choice?  The VIP package.

For $850 you get access to the “LollaLounge” which includes:

3 day pass
Lunch and Dinner Buffets
Beer
Wine
Water
Specialty Libations
Air conditioned restrooms
Viewing platform
Mini-Spa Treatments
and “much much more”

As if having your booze and food provided, plus great seats and spa treatments wasn’t plenty ‘more’ enough.

Any UM readers headed to Chicago this summer?

Couldn’t you just cut back on a few things instead of always heading to the sperm bank? Seriously. Or perhaps you can donate plasma. Ha.

  2. 2 Cash
