Industrial Photos

Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre have a collection of photographs to arouse the aspiring urban explorer in all of us. The collection titled Photography of the Unexpected and Neglected Architecture explores the dirtier side of building imagery. Abandoned factories, broken windows, rusted metal… Perfect!
Our society once erected singular and surprising buildings in all domains, including industry. Many cities keep traces of this glorious past but despite a seeming awakening towards the architectural inheritance of the IXth and XXth Centuries, numerous unexpected monuments are today on the way to rot or, the worth, being destroyed.
