How to: Rock out to “Number 1″

August 5, 2006 by Glenn

In the past months, I’ve been playing Goldfrapp’s Supernature far more than anything else recently added to my music collection. Cash reviewed the album, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. But if you were to get just one track from it, check out “Number 1″ (iTunes link).

And now, how Glenn rocks out to Number 1:

Press play.
0:15 — “Walk out, into velvet” — Toes tapping…
0:30 — “Cause you’re my number 1″ — Heels getting in on the action too…
0:47 — “Sunset, only seconds” — Slight bobbing of head…
1:18 — Arena synth kicks in — Spike the volume, whole body starting to feel it…
1:48 — “Walk out, into velvet” — Building…
2:04 — “Cause you’re my number 1″ — Fingers snapping in time…
2:19 — Arena synth is back — Jam the volume all the way up, waiting for the release…
2:34 — “Cause you’re my number 1″ — 46 seconds of full on rocking out…
3:20 — Fade out — Repeat.

Substitute your preferred method of rocking out as needed ;-)
