how to meet girls : part 2, don’t stink

You may not think your father and bestselling author / pick up artist Neil Strauss (The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pick Up Artists) have much in common, but on one point, they’ll likely agree: fresh breath is crucial for making a good impression.
On the ladies.
On your boss.
On everyone.
It’s recently come to my attention that all chewing gum isn’t created equal.
“Stride”, a new product by Cadbury Adams USA is being billed as “the ridiculously long lasting gum”. Developed over a period of three years, Stride was launched with great fanfare at a party hosted by none other than uber-socialite Nicky Hilton.
“This gum is so good, it lasts and lasts,” Hilton said dreamily, adding: “I’m not just saying that.”
Um, yeah.
Nonetheless, others amongst the glamarazzi crowd including Jessica Alba and Wilmer Valderrama have apparently been singing Stride’s praises.
This is no accident.
Cadbury is apparently spending $50 million dollars publicizing it, and is reaching to make it the “It Gum” (??!!) of young Hollywood.
Whether they succeed is yet to be seen.
Being a huge fan of gum myself and notoriously fickle when it comes to only chewing it as long as the flavor’s fresh; my ‘habit’ has sometimes bordered on the expensive.
I’m happy to report that in my own personal chomp test a single stick lasted around 33 minutes before I had to toss it.
Stride’s already a star in my eyes.

Nothing worse than being fumigated by a fellow chap with bad breath. God Lord, “Is there a stick of Stride in the house?”
