How to Beat a Speeding Ticket
October 19, 2006 by Glenn

Since my car is on the verge of exploding into a firey ball of death, I usually drive like my dearly departed 94-year-old grandfather. However, this post may still be of use to the speeders out there (sisters and girlfriends included ;)).
While I don’t have much experience with speeding tickets, Stewart Rutledge certainly does. He’s been issued about thirty speeding tickets, but has zero on his record. First of all, this guy must speed like a maniac. Second of all, he knows what he’s doing to get out of a ticket.
Stewart’s Lifehacker article covers what to do over the whole ticket’s lifetime: when you first get pulled over, if you get issued the ticket, what to do at court, and what to do even if you can’t beat the ticket.

I like the first comment…
“Or you could, you know, not speed. It’s worked wonders for me.”
Hey now…. I have been doing a lot better and you know it!
