Holiday Parties: The Spa Party

I’m currently deep in the mud of planning my first spa themed holiday party.  Instead of the usual egg nog and cookies, I’ve decided to offer those invited a piece of relaxation.  Of all the resources I’ve found online, the DIY network has had the most impact.

The event’s primary focus is creating a spa-like, tranquil environment. This will be achieved by forming intimate areas for conversation or relaxation divided by Shoji screens or gracefully draped fabric. To further enhance the party space, decorations of aromatic candles and greenery will be placed around the pool and sprinkled throughout the home.

The instructions are then divided into multiple sections including zen inspiring waterfalls, calming decorations, and light food and drinks.  Check out Spa Party for more information.
