Headshaving With a Razor vs Clippers
April 9, 2007 by Greg

This weekend I made the move from a shaved head via clippers to a shaved head via razor. I made the move for one main reason, ease of maintenance. It’s far easier to shave my head with a razor in the shower than a multi-step clipper ritual approach.
Previously I was shaving my head with clippers about once a week. This required clipping, sweeping, showering, and clean up. The whole process took about 15-20 minutes.
While this worked well, and was relatively easy, I didn’t really like getting hair all over the place or the aforementioned clean up process. Thus, as a general rule, I would often put off this grooming task because it was a pain in the ass. Enter the razor.
I started this weekend by using a HeadBlade razor for head shaving. While more exposure is required for a proper review, after my first use, I am thoroughly impressed. It took maybe an extra 5 minutes in the shower and a few minutes after for missed spots.
Best of all, no sweeping.

Didn’t you recently have it done at a salon? How does that experience compare?
hey you, quit jumping the gun with privileged information
Oops. Attention Urban Monarch readership: read between the lines for info on an upcoming Cerveny feature.
You know, if you don’t want shaving and cleaning up afterwards to be a pain in your ass anymore, you could just let your hair grow back out again. Something I’ve never seen in person, just pictures. Eh?
Oooo Oooo Can I put up the picture of greg in 40 years????
