Halloween Costume Ideas

Anyone have any great Halloween costume ideas?  I’m working on a post highlighting some cool ideas but need some good reader suggestions.

    I’m going as Margot Tenenbaum and Robert as Richie. I’m trying to get Glenn to be Eli Cash but he seems a little hesitant. Also good oldies but goodies are Dr. Gonzo and Hunter S. Thomspon/Raoul Duke.

    I went as a ball pit monster based off something I saw on a burning man site once: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/29/177101857_e9cc3af0a8.jpg?v=1151514015

    ToysRUs sells the balls and I used a graduation gown I got from the goodwill. Using a curved needle you can sew the balls on (velcro really dosen’t work), found it took about 250 balls to completely cover me. It looked great and it was fun making up names for what I was. Plus it was great pulling balls off the costume and throwing them at people, writing messages on them etc.
