google 3d warehouse

In news perhaps only to me, Google has released version 4 of their jaw-dropping Google Earth software.
The most interesting improvement in my mind is the implementation of “Google 3d warehouse” rendering to some of the cityscapes, happily including Denver (and even featuring my former apartment building, pictured above).
Not content with simply ‘flying’ down a 17th avenue strewn with correctly proportioned, yet colorless ‘buildings’, I can now view the city in almost photographic detail.
Or I can walk out my door and see the real deal.
Eh, either or. Where’s my drink?
