Good Questions for Productivity
August 7, 2007 by Greg

I’ve been starting my days lately with a blank notepad writing down all the things I want to accomplish. Having just moved, the list has been laden with small tasks like update voter registration, establish energy account, and get can opener. Fighting my way through it, I usually start with one question borrowed from the 4 hour work week.
What is the one thing on this list that would make my day worthwhile if I accomplished it?
Then I do that first. It’s been tremendously helpful in getting me to focus on my priorities. Lifehacker has come up with a long list of a few other questions to ask yourselves to help you keep focus.
A few of my favorites:
- What can I cross off my list by deleting or delegating? What is not important?
- What are my top 3 current goals?
- What can I do right now to release negative energy in a positive way?
- What have I been avoiding that I can do today?
Check out the full list.

Definitely: What have I been avoiding that I can do today?
