girls gone wild: amish edition
March 15, 2007 by Cash
Virtue and vice. Naughty and nice.
The dichotomy between the two is something that’s always fascinated me. Being no stranger to temptation, (and blessed with a life that seldom requires avoiding it) gives me a somewhat skewed perspective on the more, ahem, ‘morally disciplined’ members of society.
One facet of America then that’s particularly intriguing to me are the Amish. With thier strict adherence to age old laws against modern technologies (aka indespensible conveniences) and decadance, I’ve often wondered how the younger folk survive.
According to a fascinating article in the Cleveland scene? It just takes equal parts clever deception and hormone fueled curiosity.
Mix, and serve.
Enter the world of “Yanking off” (to marry someone outside Amish culture) and driving horse drawn buggies under the influence. Enter Amish country.
Meet Tina;
When she turned 17, she started her rumspringa — the Amish rite of passage in which young adults are allowed to dabble in the indiscretions of our world before officially joining the church. “It just means you can do whatever Yanks do,”
Fascinated by the perks of non-Amishdom, Tina learned to adapt.
She quickly grew a tiny collection of T-shirts and eye shadow, learning to drink by the six-pack until dawn and memorizing Eminem’s entire discography. She even bought a cell phone, which her parents still don’t know about.
Drinking? Yanks hungry for Amish pussy? Horses wandering through intersections?
You know it. Find out more here.

Check out this documentary: Devil’s Playground. It has all kinds of craziness like huge farm parties and meth addicts.
