Getting Your Mail Temporarily Forwarded

I’m currently planning a 6 week trip to New Orleans.  Since I work remotely, I’ll be able to continue my job while I’m there. One of my concerns has been collecting my existing incoming payments, as I don’t yet have this process automated.  A quick visit to the USPS website let’s me know that the postal service will handle it all for me.

Premium Forwarding Service (PFS) is a domestic service for residential customers. With this service, USPS® forwards ALL of your mail from your permanent address to a temporary address.

Most mail is forwarded once a week via Priority Mail®; some mail is reshipped separately, but immediately upon arrival at the primary address.

Enrollment fee is just $10.00 and weekly reshipment fees are $11.95.

This solves that problem at least…
