Get into Designer Socks

Having just recently purchased a pair of loud purple striped socks from paul smith, I am now on the cool sock train. V.K. Nagrani is offering a grab bag of 12 designer socks dubbed the dirty dozen.

If Forrest Gump’s mother knew about us, she would have said, “Life’s like a box of socks…”. The Dirty Dozen is a great “starter” set for those of you who are trying to figure out if socks are really that important and a bargain for those of you who already know. The Dirty Dozen includes past collection, present collection samples and future prototypes. No DD is ever the same. The assortment contains a range of colours - not to worry, you will not get 12 pairs of orange socks. This is truly a natural male enhancement.

Yours for $175. Or mine for $175. Hmmm…

although it’s hard for me to imagine dropping $175 on 12 pairs of socks (outlandish and funky fresh as they may be) i could definitely imagine myself dropping $340 on the stainless steel fireplace:

also being showcased on luxist at the moment. big ups to you for turning me onto that site; i’d never heard of it before.

That’s less than $15 for designer socks built with care and made to last. They are normally $30 a pair.

Luxist is pretty cool site. It’s a calacanis property.

I can attest that these socks are awesome. At roughly $15 a pair, they are not that out-of-the-park priced. When you consider buying a Zegna shirt for $300 vs. a similar looking shirt at Macys for $50, you get my point.

I like wearing them with jeans and khakis. Can’t say that I wear the loud colors with a suit, but have some that look great with a suit. subtle, yet with flare. Try them out!

[...] I find the term manhole a bit suggestive, be it juvenile. Anyway, when I saw these cufflinks on luxist, I immediately fell in love. I think cufflinks, like socks, give subtle clues to your personality. I once had a pair of ben sherman crest cufflinks that I felt close to, but I broke them while karate chopping my friends in the arm one evening. These manhole cufflinks could easily replace my boring kenneth cole french cuff kissers. Check out the whole series at cufflinks.com. [...]

Love the socks and the underwear. I did do the pink socks with a grey suit for work, and the women went nuts. But, the underwear does help my pants fall better, as they promise.
