Emergency Kit for Your Car
12Dec06

What holiday present is surely the way to your loved ones’ hearts? A homemade emergency kit for their car, of course.
Okay, maybe not. But for those of us in climates with occasional extreme weather like lots of snow, it’s smart to have one of these for the car.
Yahoo! Tech has a great bullet-point article on what to put in your own emergency kit, all for less than $100. For any women readers out there, it’s certainly not a bad stocking stuffer idea for the men in your life.

If you want to get me that for Christmas I wouldn’t object. Knowing my car I will need it. Especially seeing how they didn’t fix the pump and it’s still leaking fluid all over the place. Ha. Good post though!
I definatly considered putting one of these together. I mean, it’s not like I ever leave the D.C. Metro area, but it still might be a good idea “just in case.”
http://www.right-thoughts.us/index.php/weblog/comments/vehicle_survival_kit/ was a good list, but missing a few things. Jumper cable, mirror, fix-a-flat, candles, sterno, one of those emergency radios with a crank to power it … a fire extinguisher?
p.s. I am in no way associated with that site, and in fact, after checking it out beyond that one link, I wish to unassociate myself with it. Thank you.
(p.s. the list is still decent).
