drinking: reef ‘dram’ sandal flask

March 26, 2007 by Cash

Reef - Dram

I’ve never been a fan of sandals. Or shorts.  Or sunlight in general.  Considering this year’s amazing summer concert season however, I may have to make an exception for the new “Dram” from Reef.

With a 3 shot capacity, getting your booze past security has never been easier.

    3 shots in each sandal?

I could see a platform version coming in handy.

That is the coolest damn thing ever!

Oh Cashie…only you would find an article on booze toting sandals. And if you guys ever want something snuck into Red Rocks, they usually don’t pat down the women. I’ll be your bootlegger!

Ewww, James Bond does not approve. The reason you wear sandals is that ground is too nasty to go barefoot. Why would you think that this is a good thing to hold something to drink? Find another way. Sneaking in a flask is not that hard…..

MarkJ yer an idiot. How exactly does the “nasty ground” find its way into a sealed flask?

Hah! Just bought a pair of these and I have yet to try them out if you know what I mean. Still not sure exactly what the capacity is but it’s definitely a good design. There is a plastic flask underneath the heel with a pretty secure cap. Don’t worry about the heel caving in because Reef did a good job of supporting it.

In my opinion, these are damn comfortable sandals.

I like these sandals but they don’t hold much liquor.

Also, the caps get loose, especially at the beach. I’ve already lost one. Any ideas on how to replace them? Any alternative caps?

    Thanks

No idea unfortunately. I think if I ever get them I’ll just stuff them in a backpack explaining my plan to ‘change shoes’ once inside the concert venue or whatever.
