Develop Your Vernacular

I will often say something like rebooty, to which people often ask, “Greg, that’s a really cool word. What does it mean?” Either that or, “Is that really a word or did you just make it up?”

Well, it’s not a word, but it makes me feel really cool when I say shit like that. If you want to know what take ‘em to the stacks means, I’ll let you in on a little secret, Urban Dictionary’s word of the day. Once a day you can get a new slang term from their page or delivered to you via email or rss. Now you are all ready to be hipsters.

Where are the go cups in denver?!

    go-cup
A term used in New Orleans to refer to the plastic cups given by bars to their patrons so that they might take drinks off of the premises, as in to-go drinks or at closing time.

“It’s closing time, guys. Want your beer in a go-cup?”
