cult movie art
July 19, 2007 by Cash
I’ve always been a huge fan of indie/cult cinema and pop art. A recent exhibition in L.A. hosted by Kevin Smith featured the best of both worlds.
Artists’ takes on such classics as Fight Club (see the jaw dropping Marla Singer image above), Donnie Darko (one of my favorite movies of all time), Clockwork Orange, and others were featured in the show.
Check out the whole slide show here.

The marla singer painting is my favorite…
Agreed! Even with the cigarette.. meow.
Nice. I’m a big fan of antique travel posters, anything great to put a fat frame on.
I love fight club (and donnie darko too)
Thank you fot this post, I didn’t who Kevin Smith was but now you’re opened a new source for me.

Whoever did that Marla picture is amazing! Great job to whoever did that. Keep it up.
