Hugh O’Neill may not be a perfect husband, but he has a good article over at Men’s Health on how to be a better husband or boyfriend.
Some of the tips that I liked most were…
- Work the reunions — Giving her the right look with your eyes shows how much she means to you.
- Be touchy — I thought it was a given that all guys want to do this. Maybe not…
- She ain’t broke, so don’t fix her — This goes both ways. It’s rare to find someone who can accept criticism and try to change, so be accepting of their flaws.
- Play to win — A lesson I recently learned. Don’t be afraid to rock the boat and say what you really feel. She deserves all of you.

“Laugh at her” is a good one. I know I’ve had girlfriends with whom I’ve forgotten to laugh at their jokes. They didn’t like it very much.
