buffalo exchange

We may give hipsters a lot of shit here @ UM, but there are definitely areas where we agree with them.  In some ways, this includes fashion (American Apparel being one example).  If you’re looking for something kitch-tastic that your vespa riding neighbor will likely approve of, you might start your search @ Buffalo Exchange.  A ‘vintage’ (re: used) clothing store for the hipster minions it carries everything from designer jeans to ironic tees that will likely prove passe after a week’s wear.

Some of my own favorite BE finds?  A few short sleeve black polyester button ups that have become staples of my summer wardrobe.

Why has the post unveiling Marie Digby’s lie been removed?

Not removed, just rescheduled for later today. Sorry for the mixup.

I think there are people out there who can appreciate the vintage nature of the thrift store even though it’s not necessarily my bag.

However the designer element is crap. I’ve seen prices upward of $60 on used designer jeans there. For the same price, denim can be had brand new via outlet stores like nordstrom rack and sak’s off 5th.
